Naturally in your NeighbourhoodReleased: 12/05/2014
Naturally in your Neighbourhood is an environmental awareness event to be held at the Hetton Centre, Hetton-le-Hole, on Friday 30th May between 10am and 3pm.
This is the second annual event which was a great success last year. A whole load of organisations will be there with displays and activities relating to the local environment and sustainable and healthy living. It will be a great place to take kids during half term as there will be things to attract all ages:
Nature and fossil displays; 'smoothie bike'; face painting; meet rescued hedgehogs; bee hive; green teams from various organisations. Wear Rivers Trust will be displaying information about our work in the local area and will have live riverflies from Hetton Burn to look at! There will be lots of goodies to take away and prizes to be won too so don't miss it!
