Unique Learning Experiences

If your school/group is not currently eligible to engage with any of our funded projects, you can still access our full range of river and classroom-based sessions. From kick sampling at the source to rockpooling at the mouth, we can provide an array of meaningful learning opportunities. Across various sites, we support children in developing their geographical knowledge and skills, through interactive activities linked to the national curriculum. Our field trips take learning beyond the classroom, allowing pupils to investigate river features and local environments first-hand. Activities are carefully designed to support curriculum objectives while building confidence, curiosity, and real-world understanding.

Field Trips

Our in-school sessions bring rivers and environmental learning directly into the classroom. Through hands-on, curriculum-linked activities, pupils explore key concepts in accessible and engaging ways, supporting understanding while reducing travel and logistical barriers.

In-school Sessions

Not part of a school? No problem. We work with Home Ed groups, youth organisations, and community groups to deliver engaging, hands-on environmental sessions. Activities are flexible and tailored, offering meaningful learning experiences for a wide range of ages and interests.

Non-School Groups

Our outreach offer supports clear progression, with each session building on the knowledge and skills developed previously. Activities become gradually more challenging, helping pupils grow in confidence, deepen their understanding, and make meaningful links to the curriculum.
