Wear Rivers Trust

Corporate Partnerships

Healthy rivers benefit people, wildlife, and the landscapes around us. Take part in a volunteer day and help care for these important natural environments.

Bring Your Team Outdoors

Our corporate volunteering days give teams the opportunity to step away from the workplace, spend time outdoors, and make a genuine difference together. Each session is designed to be enjoyable, inclusive, and rewarding, while supporting the health of our rivers and surrounding habitats.

Volunteer days are tailored to your team, the time available, and the season. Activities vary throughout the year and may include:

  • Habitat improvement

  • Tree planting

  • Wildlife monitoring

  • River clean-ups

  • Invasive non-native species (INNS) removal

  • Water quality monitoring

All sessions are fully supported by experienced staff, with tools, equipment, and guidance provided, no prior experience is needed. Corporate volunteering days are charged to help our small charity cover essential planning, preparation, equipment, and staff time, ensuring each session is safe, well-organised, and high quality. Costs are bespoke and may vary depending on your group size and the activities involved.

Each experience is tailored to your team, with activities planned around group size, time available, and the season. Tasks vary throughout the year and may include habitat improvement, tree planting, river clean-ups, wildlife surveys, or guided learning sessions. Many groups choose a mix of hands-on conservation and outdoor learning, creating a balanced and rewarding day.

Sessions are fully risk-assessed and led by knowledgeable staff to ensure everyone feels safe, supported, and able to enjoy the day,  just bring suitable outdoor clothing and lunch.
